As the year comes to an end, Creative Commons licences have never been more popular. We’d like to thank the thousands of Canadians who have chosen to share their creative works under our licences as well as all the people who’s time, money, and effort has made Creative Commons a phenomenon spanning 26 countries with one of the Internet’s most dominant brands.

Our request for french-language content was met with an unprecedented response including music, photography, and more blogs that we could possibly count. In turn, we’ll be dedicating January and February to a multimedia exhibition of French-Canadian works. The licences have come a long way, but Creative Commons is only just getting started.
