Our currently featured work, The Pig and the Box is now being turned into a movie by Danish film makers. You can read the author’s blog post on this news here and here’s the link to the movie page. It makes me particularly happy to see these lessons about sharing changing forms.

Speaking of the book, I’d like to remind you folk that the book can now be purchased in print form online. I think children’s storytime infront of a monitor at a desk, (or even on a laptop in bed) would really kill the magic of sharing narative to young ones. Personally, I would love to see paper copies of this book in book stores across Canada, and the world for that matter. Paper books in stores would tend to reach folk not informed about Creative Commons and the websphere, and it could do a lot to raise awareness about this codification of sharing.
