Everybody knows a good wine is best shared with others. Now, information about wine is as well! With the launch of Vinismo.com, Evan Prodromou (also of WikiTravel) and Nicolas Ritoux have created a repository of information about wines from around the world. In fact, the project aims “to create a free, complete, up-to-date, and reliable guide of all wines in the world”. With a wiki framework, a Creative Commons BY-SA licence, and a bilingual site (French and English on launch day), Vinismo.com has all the elements to grow into an important shared resource for anybody who enjoys a good bottle of wine.
