ACRO is back-o
After a brief sojourn in Canada, during which time he founded the Canadian Centre for Cultural Innovation, we are delighted to wish our friend Professor Phil Graham well on returning to his roots down under and resuming the helm of his landmark project: Australian Creative Resources Online (ACRO).
ACRO was built to understand the changing global media environment; it is at once a: research facility, a digital repository, a source of creative materials, and a place to display new works.
ACRO allows you to search or browse a large database of digital media content that you can re-edit it and use in your own presentations, projects, or just for fun. It holds short video clips, photographs, digitally drawn images, and all sorts of audio. All of ACRO’s media files are in editable formats.
The material in ACRO is either in the public domain or cleared by the copyright owners for your use under Creative Commons and AEshareNet Free for Education licences.
